William was born around 1725, supposedly in Stratton Strawless. The first record is his marriage to Margaret 738 Baldwin on 3 Jun 1745 at St Michael at Plea, Norwich. Following the birth of two girls, Margaret presumably died and William married Elizabeth 194 Burrage on 1 May 1757 at Hevingham.

George 3875 was born in Oulton 1746, married Ann Rump and had George 2396 in 1778. He and his wife Pleasance 2225 raised their family in Pluckley near Ashford in Kent. Most of their family died there without issue except for Henry Johnson Gotts, whose children lived in Bromley and also flourished in Glasgow.

John 556 was born about 1757, but the location is unknown. He married Anne 557 Vout in Cawston, Norfolk, in 1779. As John and his sons were Excise officers they moved round the country regularly. Hence we see locations including Aldermaston, Hertford, Rochester

Samuel Gotts/Bramble 1496 born about 1801 in Oulton, whose son Thomas married Elizabeth Hart and lived in Cromer. His mother was Susannah Bramble, though his father is not known.

Mark Gotts and Esther are the top of this family, born probably early 1700s. Their child was born in 1781, but we don’t have Mark & Hannah’s marriage or Mark’s parents. We don’t yet know how they came to be in that area, but there are other early Gottses around Great Warley.
