John Gotts picture: 1985 North Norfolk

Here's a picture from the North Norfolk News Dec 6 1985: and for a while we wondered who it related to.

 

It states underneath: ‘Mr John Gotts, of Woodlands, Mill Lane, East Runham, would like to hear from anyone. His grandfather ‘Bob’ is seventh from the left.'   It says J Davies of Cromer on the cart. You can see the resemblance to the photo on the previous page.

Chris Gotts has written to identify John Gotts as his father, in tree #077.

Bob Gotts, his great-grandfather is Henry Robert 1504 born 1863 in Cromer, who married Blanche Alice Simpson in 1883.

The family moved eventually to the Bristol area and settled there.
