George 105 b 1781 East Ruston married Hannah 113 Sexton in 1816 in Gt Yarmouth. Their children were born in East Ruston, though their records often show it as Gt Yarmouth, Norfolk. In the census, George & Hannah are not together, hence making it more difficult to match the families:
- Thomas 1865 b 1814, though we can’t find his baptism which may be that he was baptised as Thomas Sexton (See Mariner section)
- Mary 114 b 1817 E Ruston
- James 115 b 1818 in E Ruston, though we know nothing more about him
- Henry 116 b 1819 married Anne Allen in Hull in 1845. Henry was a merchant seaman and Annie was a shoemaker.
- George 3276 b c1821 m Mary 3277 Ellis in 1850, and had two children Mary Ann 3278 in 1849, and Sarah Louise 3212 in 1858 who married Edward John Jackson in 1878. The family had moved to Hull by 1861. (There has been great confusion between this George and George 117, as both are born c1821/22, and there is only one baptism record found so far. We think these are the correct links to their parents.)

Mary Ann 114
Mary Ann lived with her mother Hannah in Gt Yarmouth, and appears in the 1841 census, however it looks like she dies in December quarter of 1841 aged 22. In 1838 she had a son:
- George Thomas 1573 Gotts b 1838 Gt Yarmouth
George is baptised as George Thomas Townshend Gotts, base-born, so conventionally this would mean the father was a Mr Townshend, and possibly called George as well. There are several Townshends in St Nicholas’ parish.

George Thomas 1573 Gotts b 1841 Gt Yarmouth. George married Mary 1574 Suddaby in 1864 in Sculcoates. Their children include:
